What is Strategic and Corporate Communication?

The Strategic and Corporate Communication major is a communicative major emphasizing message design.  Students learn the specifics of business marketing, company culture, business structure and media influencers.  The goal is to teach students how to strategically build effective messages to reach specific goals for any type of organization.

  • Strategic and Corporate Communication
    • uses research of the competitive market to strategically form messages.
    • consists of many classes filled with presentations, class activities, and group projects.
    • assists students with business professionalism, intercultural communication, and flexibility to organizational changes.
When I explain that I am a Strategic and Corporate Communication major, many people assume that it is business communication due to the name itself. However, the main focus of the major is designing effective message in order to advance an organization.
